Privacy
Your home’s air can say a lot about your routines, so HouseExhale keeps as little as it can, and keeps it on your phone unless you choose otherwise.
On your phone
The app keeps your journal on the phone: your home details (city, ZIP code, size and layout), rooms, monitors, each night’s CO2 readings and conditions, installers and quotes, and project dates. Photos of documents, like an airflow sheet or warranty card, are stored in the app’s private storage and never leave the phone.
Without an account, nothing is sent anywhere. Quote requests open in your own email app, and you send them yourself.
If you sign in
Signing in is optional. When you do, a copy of the journal syncs to your HouseExhale account so you can see it on the web dashboard, enter quotes from a computer, and restore it on a new phone. We also keep the last 30 saved versions so a bad sync can be undone, and a list of the devices that have synced (a random device ID, a label like “Android phone”, and the app version).
Accounts are hosted with Supabase. Only you can read your journal: the database checks every request against your sign-in. We don’t sell it, share it with installers, or use it for advertising.
Deleting it
On the web dashboard, Account → Delete my account removes your account, the synced journal, its saved versions and the device list straight away. The copy on your phone stays until you remove the app. Signing out in the app keeps the phone copy and stops syncing.
On this website
Guides and the download page may use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta conversion tags to see which ads and pages bring people to the app. They don’t load on the sign-in page or the dashboard, and they never see your readings. When you tap a store button, the ad or page you came from is added to the App Store or Google Play link, so we can count which campaigns lead to installs. If you join an email list, we keep your email and the page or ad you came from.
