Plan terms
How HouseExhale’s paid plans for installer companies work. They’re part of the installer program terms you agree to when you apply.
During the founding pilot nothing is for sale and everything is free. These terms apply once plans go on sale, and we’ll tell members in writing at least 30 days before.
What stays free
Receiving and answering requests, your listing, your dashboard, the proposal check, the airflow sheet and homeowners’ photos and floor plans are free, with a team of up to 2. We never charge per request, per lead or as a share of a job. Homeowners see the same things whether or not you pay.
Pro
Pro adds a team of up to 20, your logo on the proposals and airflow sheets you print, and exports of your requests to your own systems (such as Jobber or Housecall Pro). $49 a month billed monthly, or $490 a year billed yearly, in advance.
The sponsored card
A sponsor is shown in one card marked “Sponsored”, with the line “Pays HouseExhale to be shown here.”, above the list of companies, to homeowners in the ZIP codes it serves whose request it takes, while it’s accepting requests. The homeowner decides whether to ask it; it’s never picked for them. Sponsorship never changes the list of companies, its order, “Pick for me”, our checks, reviews or results, and doesn’t promise any number of requests.
Sponsorship is sold by area: a county, or a few counties next to each other, and the ZIP codes in it, listed before you sign up. At most 3 sponsors per area, shown in turn. Each area’s price depends on its size, by how many people live there, and the plan page shows it before you pay. For each area, billed in advance:
- Small area (under 400,000 people): $99 a month or $990 a year
- Standard area (400,000 to 1 million people): $149 a month or $1,490 a year
- Large area (over 1 million people): $249 a month or $2,490 a year
To stay a sponsor you answer requests on time (within 2 business days) and keep a checked airflow measurement; while you fall short, we take the card down and pause its billing.
Founding members
Companies that join during the founding pilot pay half price for the first 12 months of their first Pro plan and of their first sponsored card (for a yearly plan, its first year). A plan of the same kind taken again later is full price.
Renewal, cancelling and refunds
Plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly as you chose, until you cancel. Before you sign up we show the price, what renews and how to cancel, and we email you a confirmation to keep. For a yearly plan we remind you 25 to 40 days before it renews.
Cancel any time in one step under Plan and billing on your dashboard, or by email to hello@houseexhale.com. You keep the plan to the end of the period you paid for. We don’t refund part periods, except where the law requires. If you stop paying, your listing and your requests carry on as before.
Payment, prices and tax
Payments go through our payment provider, Stripe, which handles your card; we keep only your plan, the amounts and the dates. Prices exclude any sales tax, which we add where it applies. Prices can change with 30 days’ written notice.
